The Innovation District is the professional home to hundreds of scientists and doctors. These individuals are leaders in their fields world-wide but are often unknown locally. They are working to solve childhood illnesses, maintain the oceans, and develop new technology.The Innovation District hosted a special event on October 10th to showcase these individuals and their stories. There was a series of eight fast-paced, brief presentations. The reception following the program gave attendees the rare opportunity to continue the conversations with the presenters.
