Question: What links Grouper, Fact-Checking, Simulation and Art?Answer: The St Pete Innovation District!The first tour of the St Pete Innovation District was held on September 21st. A cross-section of District members went behind-the-scenes at University of South Florida College of Marine Science, Poynter, Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and The Dali Museum.They learned about how technology that identified grouper fraud is now being applied in healthcare, how tools used to evaluate the authenticity of statements in journalism are moving to new fields, how simulation is used to improve teamwork and communication in healthcare, and how everyone has the creativity to innovate.
