The Innovation District and community partners have been conducting projects over the last three years to demonstrate how technology can help address issues such as environmental sustainability, pedestrian and bicyclists safety, and STEM education.
In March of 2021, we hosted a virtual program on the status of these projects. We are excited to provide an in-person update in 2022.
This event will begin at the USF Student Center Ballroom (2nd floor) and include a walking tour of the project locations, examples of how the data collected is being used for decision-making, and an unique smart city model. The event will conclude with a discussion with local leaders and attendees about how the lessons learned from these projects can influence future decisions in urban planning, workforce development, and education for St. Petersburg.
Walk-ins welcome.
