The St. Petersburg Innovation District is launching a quarterly breakfast series called Morning Sparks: Innovation X-change. We will explore emerging technologies and concepts, invite District partners to share their current related efforts, and engage in thoughtful (and hopefully spirited) discussions that will spark future innovation.
Why Are We Doing This?
Technology is rapidly evolving in ways we are all grappling to understand and embrace. These advances may change the way we operate our businesses, receive services, or think about our built environment. As a partner of the Innovation District, you play a unique role for our community - exploring and harnessing the potential of these advancements.
What Can You Expect?
Each Innovation X-change will focus on an emerging technology or concept that has broad implications across sectors and geographies. This event's topic will be artificial intelligence. Future topics may include deep fakes, unmanned vehicles (air, sea, land) and data visualization. We will begin the X-change with a brief presentation. In the style of our annual State of Science and our monthly Hub Tech X-changes, this presentation will be short and thought provoking. Then we will turn the discussion over to the audience. Together, we will explore how our District partners are already embracing the technology/concept, implications for the future, and our next steps.
