The Social Innovation Fast Pitch is a business pitch competition that supports nonprofits and social enterprises addressing critical needs and making a positive impact in Tampa Bay and around the world. This Social Innovation Fast Pitch is a free two-month training and mentoring program followed by a pitch by innovative nonprofits that are effecting social change. A “Fast Pitch” is a high-energy, fast-moving, quick-fire presentation where social entrepreneurs share the mission, vision. promise, and model for their organization – all in under three minutes. Fast Pitch implements this rigorous two-month coaching/mentorship process to prepare approximately 10 chosen nonprofit organizations for the big pitch – a three-minute fast pitch with the goal of getting funding and support from the community.
Social Venture Partners Tampa Bay is hosted their first Fast Pitch in partnership with the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and the University of Tampa Lowth Entrepreneurship Center.
