Data is used daily in the SPID to deploy information and create technology that better serves the quality of life of a population. From entrepreneurs, to city planners, marine scientists, programmers, analysts and beyond, projects are underway that capture data, synthesize it, communicate it and use the intel to deploy solutions to the community.

Lonestar Lunar's aspiration for the world’s first physical data center on the Moon has reached another milestone. Wednesday evening, they were part of the successful launch by Intuitive Machines. This is the second time this Hub tenant had made history. They were first to transmit data to and from space in February 2024.
The Innovation District and six partners were recently selected to help grow startups that are working on technology/data solutions for the ocean economy. This powerful collaboration is made possible thanks to $13.9 million awarded by the NOAA Ocean Enterprise Accelerators program.
Last week St. Pete Innovation District hosted its 6th State of Science and Innovation. This event highlights innovators who are doing creative, thought-provoking, and impactful work. This is always a favorite event of the year and once again the event didn't disappoint.
